Mandy Memmel, Founder

Mandy Memmel is the founder of Hon’s Honey and the Executive Director of Drink at the Well INC, located in the south east corner of Baltimore, MD. She founded the organization in 2013 after being involved in the community as a mentor and small group leader for over 10 years.

Her vision was to provide a safe haven in the community for women to be loved and restored. Now, The Well is a thriving organization and life center offering women community, opportunity and responsibility.

Mandy has a nursing background. She was also the co-owner of an interior design
business for 12 years. She is the proud mom of 3 adult children each of whom are
actively using their gifts to influence the world around them. While raising her
children, she led women’s ministry at her church, which paved the way for urban
ministry in Baltimore. She has mentored over 20 women. In 2018, she
received an award in Anne Arundel County for “Women Making a Difference”. While
she much prefers to give awards to others, she is thankful for the opportunity to
make a difference and say “yes” to change, for the broken and wounded of her
community.

Erin Allison, Director

Erin is an Air Force wife and the mother of 3 children. Even though Texas is “home”, she has embraced the adventure that military life has been. Residing in Mississippi, Italy, Germany, Colorado, and Maryland has expanded her worldview and multicultural experiences.

Erin has a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and was a high school teacher prior to moving overseas and having children. She has been on staff at The Well since 2016. She began her experience at The Well as the Office Manager, but quickly rolled into the Program Director position where she maintained programming at The Well, wrote grants, and managed bookkeeping for 2 years. As the Hon’s Honey Director, she will implement the vision of social enterprise and build relationships with and among the Worker Bees.

Worker Bees

Worker Bees are graduates of The Well’s COR Life Mentorship program or are actively involved in the program. They are low-income residents of Baltimore and survivors of abuse, addiction, and/or trauma. Worker Bees are fully invested in the vision of Hon’s Honey and are pursuing personal growth, provision for their families, and leadership in their community.

They have hope for their future and work toward giving other women who do not yet know their worth and purpose, the opportunity to be involved.
