Instructions:

  1. Cut the apples and oranges into quarters.

  2. Combine apples, oranges, cloves, cinnamon sticks, all spice, and water in a stockpot.

  3. Heat to high and bring to a boil. Once at a boil, reduce to medium-low, bring to a simmer and cover.

  4. Simmer for 2 hours, or until the apples are super soft. Occasionally stir and check on the cider.

  5. After 2 hours, take a potato masher and mash all of the apples and oranges in the stockpot.

  6. Use a cheesecloth to strain stockpot contents into a large bowl. Press on them with a potato masher/wooden spoon to release all the juices.

  7. Spin cloth to seal and set cheesecloth in a bowl- place in the freezer to cool.

  8. While still hot, sweeten with honey. Start with ¼ cup honey and increase to desired sweetness.

  9. Stir until honey is dissolved.

  10. Once cheesecloth has cooled, strain juices out of cloth.

  11. Discard/compost the solid contents of the cheesecloth.

  12. Serve warm and enjoy!
